Pet care experience
your family member (dogs and cats are people too!). I have had animals in the home my entire life, which included at least two to three dogs and two cats under my care at a given period of time. I want to take care of your fluffers like they are my own, and they will thank you for it. As a sitter, I'm likely to sit down, read a book and relax after your doggo is tired out and ready to rest. Cats are no problem either because there is nothing I love better than a cat's tail getting in the way of the computer screen while you try and watch your favorite show. I look forward to working with you and meeting all of your needs and hopes for someone you're trusting to take care of your animals. It should be noted that although we previously offered boarding and day care services, we no longer can due to the addition of our second adopted dog (Dutch shepherd/GSD mix) who is quite dog reactive. Consequently, I have no problem with handling larger dogs or those with reactivity or nervousness issues.

John and his girlfriend are absolute dog lovers, and took great care of my little fur boy during the weekend. John was in constant communication with me, and felt assured my boy was in good hands. I would recommend John to anyone.

Safety, trust & environment
I have two of my own dogs that mean the world to my partner and I. I understand what it means to be working with your family member, and that means I will always do my best to treat them with the greatest respect, kindness, love, and compassion that I can offer while following any training guidelines that you may set out for our interactions or walks. Our dogs are not perfectly trained, but they will perform commands for heel, center (position between the legs), and right (position at right side of the body), sit, down, down stay, emergency down, place, crate, spin, center (position between legs), give paw, high fives, kisses, speak, and “sit pretty” or “t-Rex,” as we call it. We dedicate a lot of time to our family members and there is enough space and time for me to do the same for yours.
Information John L. would like to know about your pet
I will listen to your guidance regarding the dogs likes and dislikes, favorite toys and games, limitations or restrictions on behaviors and interactions with people, kids, and other animals. I would like to know if you are actively working with a trainer or are working on training with the animal so I can provide a continuation of your methodologies so as not to confuse your pets in any way. Of course, if there are any major allergies, I would like to know about that and if your dog has ever been a flight risk for backing out of their safety gear during walks.
A typical day
A typical visit includes a meet and greet period of time to let the dog warm up to me, that may mean that I walk in your place and sit on a chair on my phone and ignore them until they come to me or for the rambunctious dogs, we will be instant friends. I will take them out for a walk or in your yard all while playing with them, their favorite toys, and giving a few treats that are provided by the owner to reduce any risk of allergy-related issues.
