Helloooooo! My name's John and I'm a huge dog lover and have been my entire life. I have 25+ years of dog caring experience that came from raising a family of Chihuahuas and my late beloved dog-son Puggle, Rocky. Living with friends growing up, I have also cared for larger breeds such as Blue Nosed Pit Bulls and hyper breeds such as Border Collies. I'm also no stranger to catering to more independent breeds like Shiba Inus and wolf-dogs who may need unique attention. I've always been told that I have a special connection with dogs and I've even been told I would give Cesar Milan a run for his money... haha probably not. However, people have commented to me about how their dogs feel at ease with me, unthreatened and trusting. I've received these comments my entire life and continue to receive them today, with some adding that it shows that I'm a good hearted person, because dogs can sniff it out of you! My apartment is very spacious 2 bedroom in a really nice part of Oakland near Jack London Square and Lake Merritt. I live in a dog friendly community and you'll know once you drive into the area what I'm talking about. There is a great mile+ long hike I always take the dogs on at least once a day that goes right along the Alameda River up into Jack London Square with an amazing view and even a field and park along the way. People are always walking their dogs on this route and believe me, the dogs LOVE it!!! When I was living in a house with a yard in Santa Clara, clients and their pets were more than satisfied and my repeat score of 99 reflects this. I will bring the same level of care to your doggies here in Oakland and can't wait to meet you!
