I have cared for all types of dogs and cats for 3+ decades. I will walk, feed, play with, clean up after, and bathe your pet. I understand how special your pet and will care for them like they are my own. You can rest assured that your pet will be given the individual attention he or she requires. We will exercise and socialize as much or as little as your pet likes. They will feel happy and loved when they are with me.

John has been taking care of family and friends' dogs now and again since his dog died 4 years ago. He is fantastic with my Boxer, Boswell whenever I am away. He will treat Boswell to a new toy every time he watches him, bathes him if I ask, and takes him on hiking & swimming adventures. Boswell always lights up when I tell him John is coming!

I live in a condo, so caring for your pet would be better at your home in their own environment so they are as comfortable as possible. When I care for family and friends' pets, we throw the ball in the fenced in yard, go for leashed walks around the neighborhood or on hiking trails. We can drive to the dog park if that is part of their routine. I am happy to feed them whatever their diet requires, giving them the personalized care they are used to. I want them to feel as comfortable as possible while you are away. Naturally, they will feel a bit of anxiety when you are away. My job is to alleviate that anxiety and hopefully provide a little excitement and change of pace. I want your pet to look forward to hanging out with me.

If there are multiple dogs, please let me know which is the dominant one so they can eat first, as well as other eating / diet instructions to follow. I have no problem with size / age / obedience capacity / energy level of all pets. We will surely become friends after a little introduction time.
A typical day
I like to find hiking trails or dog parks that are close to the pet owner's house. It helps the pet feel more comfortable if the pet is familiar with the area. I like treating dogs to a PupCup or a treat at a pet store. If there is a pool at the pet owner's house, we will play in the yard and pool until we are both exhausted.

Availability
I am currently working part time from home, and am able to provide a flexible or rigid routine should your pet require either. I have an SUV with plenty of room, should we need to drive anywhere. We can go on extended walks, socialize at the dog park, or just play in the back yard.
