I say I love you to every dog I see

Pet care experience

I have had a dog in my household my entire life and my entire family is a very big dog-loving family. In my lifetime, I have had two Golden Retrievers, named Toby and Amber. Amber was my childhood pup, and so unfortunately, I don't remember him as much, but Toby was truely my best friend for 12 years of my life, which at the time of his passing, was half my lifetime. One of my sisters currently has a Puggle named Frankie, who lives at my parents house with me right now, as well as Black Lab named Dawson who lives with her. Her and my brother-in-law actually just adopted a German Sheppard Puppy too! My other sister and her husband have a 160 pound English Mastiff named Thor. He is the biggest cuddle bug, and would never harm a fly. I felt the need to make note of all this because I have had a lifetime of experience living with and caring for dogs of all different breeds. When my sisters go away, I stay at their houses and watch over their boys and make them feel loved and happy while they're mom and dad are away. I've also house sat my neighbor's dog who is a Labradoodle named Einstein, and let me tell you; I'm 6'2" and 235 pounds and this dog is BIGGER than me and we had a BLAST! Every time I come home, I see him in the window across the street, smiling, and I wave at him immediately. He's so awesome! I have no preference over the size or breed of any dog. I love all dogs, no matter how big or small, or what kind they are. In fact, there is a 99.9% chance that when I see a dog in public, I will not only go up to it to pet it (if given permission) but I will absolutely tell it I love them when I leave because I just love all dogs! I recently had a friend who house-sat and the dog that was there, she just could not get it to calm down, and he just seemed very agitated. So, I went over to the house, and within 10 minutes, after sniffing me, I was sitting Indian Style in the kitchen with the dog laying in my lap. She called me the dog whisperer because of it. Haha. Actually, a lot of people call me that just because I can care and love for any dog so well to always make them feel comfortable, just as I would with a human baby.

I've known John for many years. He is by far one of the most responsible and caring individuals. John's love for animals is just amazing. He treats every animal with the utmost love and respect. I would never hesitate to have John be my dog's caregiver. John's family has had dogs his entire life. He has loved each and every one so much, and they love him! I am very excited for him that he is going to be caring for dogs, and I couldn't think of a greater thing for him to do. He's perfect for this career.

Information John K. would like to know about your pet

Honestly, my only concern would be if it has any potty training issues or if it tends to go to the bathroom inside, especially in a home they may not be used to. As for breed preference, I love ALL dogs.

A typical day

I live about a mile, maybe not even, from a very big open field by a nearby high school that I can take the dog on a walk to-to play ball or frisbee with. My home is in a very friendly neighborhood, where people walk dogs all the time, and would have no issue walking these dogs as needed. I have a pretty good sized backyard that is fenced in for when Dawson and Thor come over, that I can play around with the dog in. We have plenty of frisbees and balls in the yard that I know Frankie wouldn't mind sharing.
