I love dogs, and dogs love me
Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs and currently take care of 2 dogs for friends, one a Miniature Australian Shepard, the other is a black lab and when I take care of them, they spend time at my house and I have a yard they can play in safely. They get fed and watered and taken for walk as much as possible. I even will chuck the ball for the lab as she enjoys it. Have had to occasionally take the Shepard in to get groomed for the owner to pick up later, or to pick up and take home, both on occasion. Both dogs love me and I treat them as if they were mine while in my care.

I live in Tacoma's Central area and would like to stay in the city for dog sitting for now but can do University Place as well. At this time, I am not doing any boarding but is something I may do in the future. I do board 2 dogs I know well that belong to good friends.
Information John h P. would like to know about your pet
If they are in need of medication at certain times of the day, let me know if they coincide with the walks/drop in's so I can take care of it as needed. I currently have no real experience with that but can learn how and would need to know how you get your dogs meds administered successfully. Also, any tricks I should know if walking them, like will they lunge towards other people or dogs, so I can be prepared to expect that (the black lab I take care of is that way at times so need to be on top of it when I walk her).
A typical day
At this time, I have 2 dogs I will board as they know me, and I know them and belong to good friends I've known a long time and one of them loves to chase the ball (a black lab) and will chuck the ball for her in my backyard. I take both dogs for walks when the weather is cooperative, but they get loves and hugs from me and I play with them from time to time. For drop in's and walks, they will get walked.
