John, who prefers to be called Moose, lived in my home and took care of my three Basset Hounds for several weeks when I took a trip to Florida winter 2019. He even took me to and picked me up from the airport. I returned to find three happy hounds, a clean house, and the driveway plowed. I highly recommend Moose for in-home pet sitting as it relieved my anxiety of leaving my furbabies and I would not hesitate to have Moose take care of them again. In fact, Moose has become a trusted friend who loves my hounds as much as they love him. Uncle Moose is my pet back-up person should the need ever arise.
John H. is extremely reliable and caring. We have used him as a petsitter for our aging dog, middle aged cat and young cat for several years. He is devoted and will provide updates as often as requested. He understands that our pets are beloved family members. When our dog was sick and required special care, he took care of her beautifully (including contacting our vet and buying special food). I wholeheartedly recommend him!

A typical day
We will walk in the neighborhoods of the owners; smelling and sniffing as we choose the best potty places. I try to make the time of separation of owners and their beloved animals as seamless as possible.

I am a researcher at MTU so my hours are flexible enough for most any pet sitting requirements. I have cared short term (couple days) to many months.
