Growing up my father and grandfather trained bird dogs - I was always around and interested in the process. I took notice of the fine line between treating them with incredible respect, but also expecting them to treat other people with respect. I am naturally extremely attentive when I am in the presence of a dog- super interested in how they are feeling and what their needs are. I enjoy working with them. We (our family) have had three incredible golden retrievers over the past 3 decades, I have taken in a stray and found it a proper home, and I have a lot of experience working with dogs. I absolutely love them.
