Hi I’m John and I love animals. I’m lucky enough to be home everyday so can provide love and care to any dog that needs it! From those with separation anxiety, to senior dogs, and puppies that need a little extra attention, I’m happy to be the one to provide that special care. I have worked for the ASPCA and a network of animal hospitals, and I specialize in helping dogs with separation anxiety. I’m switching gears and moving my professional life to caring for dogs at home. I look forward to caring for your pup because I understand that one of the most important parts of pet sitting is the amount of attention you give each pet. The whole point of in-home pet sitting is that your pet actually feels like they are at home! Being home everyday allows me to provide that experience to every animal that comes my way. I also understand how hard it is to be away from your pet so I’ll be in constant and consistent communication with you, sending text and photo updates that show how much fun your pup is having in my care. Creating a reliable and long-lasting relationship with pets and their owners is important to me, so I’ll be sure to use my experience and positive attitude to create a wonderful experience for both of us. I live with my husband in a spacious, puppy-proofed apartment in the dog-friendly neighborhood of Bushwick. We have a lovely enclosed indoor garden area that’s perfect for sunbathing and play time. We love staying active so daily walks to get out pent up energy are a must. We both love dogs, and welcome the chance to give our time and energy to four-legged visitors. In fact, I’m a total dog guy and love getting down on the floor and playing with a pup. I’m also a big reader, sports fan, and I create pet portraits on my computer.
