John F. is a first-rate choice for a dog walker. I have been witness to his interactions with dogs. First of all he loves them and he treats each dog as if it were his own. He has an quiet manner of encouragement with the dogs. Each dog is always excited to see him and he gives them a lot of exercise. Every dog he encounters, knows that he is there to work on some ...

John has been a part of my dog Brody's life since we got him 5 years ago. There is no one
Brody would rather see than John. John takes him on walks, hikes, parks and river adventures.
He has also helped train Brody which has been a big help. John is the ideal caregiver and
companion for any dog.

John can "teach an old dog new tricks". More importantly, John is responsible and would provide a safe and friendly environment for an owner's dog. John has an affinity towards his canine friends. I have witnessed this first hand. John forms a relationship which is admirable.. Dogs respond to his commands remarkably well and learn new skills and discipline in his relationship with each one. He loves dogs.

Dog walking addict

I grew up with dogs and love everything about them! And for the last six years have been a part-time "dog-nanny" and trainer to a friend's labrador retriever, Brody. But I'm a dog lover who is (semi) allergic to dogs, which stinks! But even though I can't own, it has never stopped me from volunteering to train, walk, run, hike, and kayak with dogs owned by family and friends. Exercise, affection, and training on a ...

What John would like to know about your dog

Personally, I prefer a medium to large dog to walk (I enjoy the challenge) but all dogs are fine.

Taking dogs on walks and hikes in vast areas (parks, woods, open fields) is my favorite, to allow for the freedom to run and explore. If limited to a neighborhood walk, I usually use a bike or skateboard with Brody to burn more of his energy, and that also may become an option with other dogs. Obviously all dogs are different and enjoy different types of play and activities. Be it fetch, tug, running, or walking, playtime is quality time.
