Pet care experience
3 year pet sitter for DogVacay with many new friends and pet parents. Looking forward to many more years and making many more doggy friends. Former 30 year pet parent of 2 lovable mutts. Both living 15 years, one after the other. I have not been able to replace my last puppy and since finding this site, figured I have found an outlet for my love of dogs. My own dogs always have had at least 4 walks a day. Lengths of the walks always depended upon the weather and their health. Nearby doggy park. Full time supervision. Companionship for both of us, since I'm retired and always home. Always extra space in bed for those overnight stays. Plenty of neighborhood doggy friends to socialize with. Smaller dogs preferred, puppies must be housebroken; some larger breeds welcome. Connect daily with your pooch through FaceTime if you have it!

John was wonderful with Saylor, our Maltese. He sent photos almost daily and provided our boy with a variety of activities during his 10 day stay. Saylor is an older dog and we felt that John was aware of his needs and really worked to make him feel at home, always keeping his needs in mind. I came home to a very happy dog! I am already booking for October and next February!
John did an excellent job. My wife and I had never left our dog anywhere and was reluctant to put her in a kennel. We stumbled on this site and are really happy that we did. John gave our Daisy the best care we could have asked for. My wife loved the daily updates and photos John gave us. If you are looking for someone who loves dogs and gives great care, then choose John. I will definitely use John again.
John was fantastic!! He updated throughout Winnie's stay and sent pictures. I was 100% comfortable leaving her in his care and have already booked for her to go back!
John was great with our little Sarah!! She is a super anxious and shy dog so leaving her is always stressful on her and us. John took his time with her, made us and her feel comfortable. Made for a stress free vacation for us! Thank you!!

The only question I always ask is, "how much of a barker are they"? Bark collars are a necessity for some dogs. I do respect my neighbors when it comes to noise levels.
A typical day
I live in a very large condo community with plenty of room to walk. There is a nearby doggy park for those who need more exercise and have their doggy licenses. For those longer weekend stays for repeat pups, there's the family lake house in Kentucky; just over an hour away from the city. Only with pet parents permission; pictures are in my profile; we're on a dead end road with no traffic! Doggy Day Care on a very LIMITED need.
