Hi, I am John, after 21 years as a qualified social worker I felt it was time for a new chapter in my life doing something I love. I have started Dibley's Dogs, dog walking and pet care services. I have a very active and friendly 6-year-old Wired Haired Vizsla, Roxy who likes nothing better than spending her day on the go. I wanted to channel my passion for dogs with my active lifestyle to offer a dog walking and pet minding service to reflect this. I have a current Enhanced DBS Police check , a Canine 1st Aid certificate and am fully insured. My walks will be kept to small groups, which I will tailor to each dogs requirements. Water and treats always available! Walks will be logged using a GPS mapping App and photographs of our walks will be uploaded to my instagram feed so that you can see what we have all been up to. After our walk I will give your dog a quick rub down, or if particularly muddy a quick warm wash & towel dry so that your carpets are not ruined upon their return! My 6m old cockapoo has been out for walks with John a few times and absolutely loves it! She's sometimes reluctant to walk far, but will happily explore Richmond Park and around and loves trying to keep up with Roxy. It's definitely a highlight of her week. John is great with all dogs and his enthusiasm for the outdoors and dogs makes his walks such fun. I would really recommend him.
John has been walking our three year old rescue chihuahua. Shall we say she’s a rescue with issues? She is very anxious out of the house, can yap at other dogs and can refuse to walk at all if taken out by anyone other than me. However I was unable to get out for her walks so John has taken her. Under his care, she has really enjoyed her getting out and about. She’s also improved in her socialisation as John has walked her with his own dog. He totally listens to your and your dogs needs, keeping our chihuahua’s walks shorter but still fun and plenty to sniff and explore. I’d definitely recommend him whether you have a larger confident breed that needs lots of exercise or you a have a smaller shy dog like mine!
