There was no stay. Communication was great up until I hit book. And then NOTHING. My dogs were unattended without water and food for hours and I had to make an emergency request for assistance. My one dog is 15 yrs old and her not having water or let out was very concerning. I could not enjoy my vacay. The code was provided to get un our home, so then I was concerned about safety as we never heard anything from this sitter after booking. Highly disappointed.

I highly recommend John Anthony & the entire staff for the professionalism, knowledge, and compassion shown to my fur babies when they were boarding at their facility for the first time! The grounds & lake views were serene and great for daily walks. I wholeheartedly believed that they were in great hands, and I definitely would board them there again in the future.

John Anthony takes great care of the pups he is working with. It’s almost like he can read the dog’s mind for his or her’s needs. He is an 11 out of 10 stars on the dog whisper/Walker scale. He loves every pup he meets. AND they love him back. I HIGHLY recommend John Anthony to care for your pup. Nomi, my lovable Doberman, loves John Anthony and so do I !!

Our daily routine involves starting each day with taking your dog out to go to the bathroom. Next I perform a quick "dog check". This includes but is not limited to: - Is the dog acting normally and in good spirits? - Does the dog have a normal appetite? - Does the dog vomit after eating? - Does the dog produce normal stool and urine? - Does the dog drag its bottom? - Does the dog chew or scratch tail excessively? - Does the dog have a full coat with no bald spots, matting, or excessive shedding? - Does the dog itch, scratch, or chew itself excessively? - Does the dog have healthy skin with no flakes, greasy feel or bad odor? - Does the dog have fleas, ticks or mites? - Does the dog have lumps, bumps or body pains? - Does the dog have clean ears with no debris or odor? - Does the dog have clear eyes and clean ears? - Does the dog have good hearing and is responsive to environment? - Doe the dog move or walk easily without stiffness or pain? - Is the dog breathing normally without straining or coughing? - Is the dog hydrated and drinking the proper amount of water? - Is the dog urinating as often and is it the normal amount? - Does the dog have a moist nose that is free of discharge?

Information John Anthony S. would like to know about your pet

For meet & greets, we prefer to meet the client at a park so that there's plenty of space to interact. Potential clients should bring a dog bowl, your dog's favorite toy and a leash. Initially, you will be handling your dog while we walk and talk so that I can see how you and your dog interact. While walking, I want to see and hear how you speak to your dog and see how your dog responds both to your presence and the distractions the park provides. We like to know what your dog’s routine is so that we know if he or she likes to play outside, what kind of games they like and how they respond to other dogs. At this time, we will also ask about your dog's food, feeding schedule, any dietary restrictions or limitations as well as any supplements or medications your dog is currently taking. We will keep in touch with you while you’re away and communicate with you consistently and effectively. At our place, we have a cameras that are motion and sound activated. While your dog is in our care we will send regular picture and video updates. We also respond quickly so that you know we are a reliable sitter you can always count on!

A typical day

Walks are scheduled all over the city. We have a custom Ram Van (2500) fully equipped for safe dog transportation, including: Dakota G3 Framed Kennels, 10 self-powered high speed fans, cooling mats, doggy seat belts, water bowls, balls, Kongs, and chew toys. Depending on the dog's exercise needs, we have a variety of locations including but not limited to: - Parks - Fields - Enclosed areas (gated and fenced) - Private Training Facilities - Ranches - Farms - And more Next up we get your dog some exercise. On our "exercise outing" the focus is primarily getting the dog active and expending energy in a positive and focused way. We have an assortment of equipment and toys that I use depending on the dog's temperament, socialization, and preference. After the exercise part of the morning is done, your dog will be properly hydrated and get a chance to relax with his or her favorite toy or Kong. Unless told otherwise, my crates come complete with a blanket, cooling mat, and water bowl in them. Our second walk is what we call the "smells walk". Dog don't often get a chance to really get out and explore the world as they see it. On the "smells walk" I use a long leash (10 ft- 20 ft depending on the dog) and allow the dogs to explore without my direct intervention. Our 3rd walk of the day is the last walk before dinner. This is a combination of exercise and fresh air. If a dog is with us for a board and train, this is generally a "transfer" lesson where the dog is working with an apprentice for the purposes of education generalization.
