I have many years of experience taking care of my pets and friends' pets from dogs, cats, horses, rats, and rabbits. I'm experienced reading animal body language and have a good intuition understanding how the pet is feeling. Our boarding is a family affair. Me, my wife, and two young children share the responsibilities. We both work from home so someone will be with the pet at all times. Our home backs up to miles of wooded hiking trails, but we also live in a quiet neighborhood for more casual outings. We most recently watched a sweet, but with mild defensive agression, medium-sized dog for three months. Our children loved her and were very respectful of her. My wife and I are home all day with our children. Someone will be with the pet at all times except on rare, short occasions. We have an unfenced half acre property that touches a 100+ acre park with woods, trails and fields. We do not have pets of our own in the house, but we do have two rescue barn cats that come and go in our secure, detached pole barn. Deer, squirrels, and other wildlife come and go around our property.
