When I was in high school I volunteered at the animal shelter in my hometown for many years. I have grown up around my own dogs my entire life. Within the last two years, my boyfriend and I bought a Husky and rescued Basset that are currently waiting for me at home for when I finish school. I have learned what it takes to train and raise a dog along with slowly building a friendship with an abused rescued dog as well.
