Hello dog lovers! I believe that dogs bring joy and fulfillment to life and their unique energy is a gift. I also think each pup is unique and that they are smart and a pleasure to be around!!. I decided to become a sitter for Rover because not only do I enjoy being around dogs, but they like hanging around with me just as much and taking care of them is a privilege and honor. I have a pup, Simba, and he is my best friend. I've had him since a puppy and he will be five years old in October. I had a dog growing up and since then I’ve taken some animal care classes and worked at a vet hospital and as a groomer. Simba and I are looking for more canine friends to hang out with and we’re looking forward to taking walks, playing and just chilling out. I have a very flexible schedule, so we can make sure that our daily itinerary matches up with what your pup is used to. There’s a park close to my home and a lot of trails nearby that we can explore, or we can just hang out around the neighborhood too! No matter what we do, I promise to communicate with your owner and be a responsible sitter. You’ll be safe and comfortable with your stay with Simba and I!

Johanna and her husband was very flexible, which worked in our favor. Their dog, Simba, was also a very sweet dog and got along with Gracie very well. My fiance and I went on a day trip to Sequoia and cell signal was limited/nonexistent. When we were finally on the way home and LTE picked up, I received a bunch of texts and pictures (which was a total relieve) with updates from morning until evening. Johanna and Jacob are a considerate and responsible couple. We're really glad to have found them. We will definitely use them again when the occasion arises.

When I first met Johanna, I immediately recognized her love and passion for dogs. As I got to know her better and after getting married, I knew from day one that her dog Simba would be a part of our family. We are committed to him and loves him very much! Johanna's love for dogs is not only apparent in the way she cares for Simba, but also with the way she interacts with other dogs and owners. Dogs seem to naturally gravitate towards Johanna and they connect and respond to her energy very quickly. Are you going on vacation? Do you need someone to watch your pooch while you run your errands or go to work? Johanna would be a great choice. You can have piece of mind knowing that your dog is in great hands. Is your dog anxious? No problem. Is your dog pretentious? Pff, please, this is all child's play for Johanna. She is equipped to handle most any situation with pretty much all breeds of canine. Sure you can choose any one of the other dog-sitters, but why not choose one your dog will love? My Wife! You may think this is biased, but she really does love dogs...Probably as much as she loves me (kidding...I hope) :)

A typical day
As a graduate student, I have a very flexible schedule. I also love being outdoors which means your pup and I would take a lot of walks, hang out outside and play or just relax. There’s a park right by my condo as well as plenty of trails that we can explore. We can also stroll around the neighborhood and hit up a coffee shop and soak in the sights.
