Pet care experience
I’ve trained puppies using positive reinforcement, pet sat multi-family dogs at once and was the go-to pet sitter at my last job. I’m new to the area and ready to take on new clients. I also have experience giving medicine and insulin shots. I have no pets of my own and am happy to also perform basic house sitting duties like mail pick up or plant watering. Other pets are okay with me too.

Johanna was amazing My dog is picky with people and took to her immediately. She has a great calm demeanor which made the experience easier and treated my dog like her own. I felt VERY comfortable leaving my dog in her hands and she kept communication lines open. I highly recommend booking with Johanna! Her pricing is also fair.

Before you leave on your trip, I'd like to know is your regular and emergency vet information to be provided on paper, just in case. I have never needed this fortunately! What also would be good is a feeding and potty schedule, what the house rules are for them (e.g., are they allowed on the furniture?), and any other info you feel is important. I want you to feel safe and secure while you're away!
A typical day
Depending on your wishes, I will play with your pets using their favorite toys/stimulants. Whether they like running around the yard, or enjoy a stroll/jog around the neighborhood, I'm game - just like them :)

Availability
For staying at a client’s home, scheduling should not be an issue. I do have a M-F job, but I telework most days, so I can ensure your pets’ needs are taken care of. I can provide walks or runs for exercise and am familiar with the area’s dog parks.
