I am retired from my big pressure job now, and happen to be a true dog and cat lover. My family always had pets, to include dogs, cats, hamsters, parakeets, horses, rabbits, chinchilla's and ferrets. Had a Pointer as a child and a German Shephard as a teen and two different Alaskan Malamutes and a few cats as an adult. A few years ago, I was working in the Middle East and cared for @ 18 feral cats who showed up promptly at 5 pm for dinner; many of which I took to the vet for shots & other health issues. Big or small, I can handle them all. I need and love them as much as they need, and will love me. I can't think of a better way for me to give back and stay vital at the same time.
