Pet care experience
We're Johan, Brody, and of course, Bruno! We are a doggy household above all else. We started pet sitting because of our experience with trying to find a great sitter or boarding facility for our boy, Bruno. Our options weren't great and we didn't trust that Bruno would get the same love and care as at home. I'm sure you've experienced the same! Your pup will be a member of the "pack" during their stay, will get unlimited love, playtime, and adventure. We like to keep our Doggy Moms and Dads updated with plenty of pictures and videos during your fur-baby's stay, because that's what we would want too! We're passionate about fostering and helping pups find a loving home. Bruno was our first foster "fail" and he became a permanent member of the family after 2 days of fostering. We are experienced with special-needs dogs, and have learned a lot about doggy behavior and understand some of the more unique needs your pup might have. We live in a quiet neighborhood in Troy and have a full fenced backyard where we spend a lot of time playing or just relaxing when the weather is nice. We keep dog beds in every room and clean them between every stay so your pup will always have a cozy place to relax and nap.

Johan always does a great job!
Johan is very friendly with Axle and made him comfortable during Axle's first visit with hm. Johan kept me updated throughout the day about what Axle had been doing and it was vert comfort for me. Thank You Johan for taking care of Axle.
My lab was pleased with his stay at Johan's. It was more like picking up from a vacation of his own rather than rescuing him from a kennel. He was well cared for and got along with Bruno as friends.

Our puppy-parenting style may be different from yours. If your pup has a routine, let us know and we will work to keep things as normal and relaxed for them as we can. Our pup is up first thing in the morning for potty and play time followed by breakfast. The rest of the morning is for cuddles, love, and training. In the afternoon we go on a long walk or take a trip to the dog park for social time - followed with nap time, play, and more training for our gentle giant. During weekend stays we like to explore new hiking trails or go to the lake if the weather permits so our pups can swim. Let us know what you're comfortable with and we'll accommodate you and your pups needs. Safety is always #1! Please have a collar and leash during the stay. We love non-slip martingale collars and non-retractable leashes, but will work with your equipment.

Any specific requests for them? Let us know! We always keep the water bowl full and pets happy and healthy. Our boy Bruno is learning to play fetch, so our days our filled with lots of time outdoors playing around in the fenced yard.

Availability
We both work from home, so we have plenty of time to play and snuggle with your pups. We're pretty flexible with our schedule so if you have a last minute change of plans we will try our best to accommodate! If you have specific routines or activities you'd like us to maintain during your doggie's stay, please let us know!
