I grew up in a big household with lots of pets, and my dog Jax was, of course, the only well behaved dog we ever had. As an adult I have raised two cats. they were fine. they were cats (one of them peed on me once though), and a dog. The dog was a pit bull and he had been through some shit. He was rescued from the rough streets of Philly. This was years ago, RIP Patton. I disagree on principle with the idea of feeding your dog human food, because it teaches them bad habits but also gets them sick. I also feel you should only allow your dog onto your bed if you are scared or ill. At other times, it doesn't feel appropriate. The cat can go wherever though, right? Usually.
