Pet care experience
I’ve been around dogs my entire life and was the considered designated dog sitter and walker of my town growing up. I recently earned my MBA from Chico State and while I was there I served as a volunteer at the Butte Humane Society Dog Shelter. I enjoyed both my in-home and shelter experiences greatly and am excited for the opportunity to care for more dogs here in the Treasure Valley.

We trust Joey with our dog. He is a dog lover. He has been dog sitting for at least 8 years. As a person he is loyal trustworthy and committed to the well-being of someone’s dog while dog sitting. Our dog Bella loves Joey when he is with her.
Joey is hands down the most dog loving person I’ve ever met. My fiancé and I let him watch our dog on numerous occasions including overnights and we have never had any worry or concerns about him. Our doggie LOVES him. He is definitely a person you can trust with your dog.
Joey is a reliable, dependable, honest and kind person. He is exceptionally proficient in both human and dog communication. He easily builds relationships with dogs and exhibits a playful manner. He has the stamina to keep up with any dog & the calmness to soothe an anxious pup. I have personally observed his behavior with multiple dogs.

It is always great to know if the dog needs any special services. For example: allergies, fears, triggers, etc. It is also fun to know what helps the dog learn as well as how the dog functions best when away from their owner(s).
A typical day
I enjoy stimulating dogs through fetch and basic commands. I have quite the experience with walking all sized dogs leashed and off leash. I've found that communication and patience with any dog goes a long way.

Availability
I currently work full time as a lumber salesman in Boise. With that my hours range but are typically 7am-4pm Monday through Friday. Aside from said time frame I am completely open and also more than capable of checking on pets prior to work starting in the mornings.
