Hey there! I’m your friendly neighbourhood CCPDT certified dog trainer and professional vet tech. I am also a fear free certified pet sitter, committed to ongoing education. I have extensive experience with reactive and fearful dogs, as well as puppy socialization. Have a happy-go-lucky, maybe-a-little-overexuberant pup? Or maybe a nervous nelly? I’m your girl! Love cats, love dogs, love talking to people about cats and dogs. I'm an active person, obsessed with hiking, jogging, and throwing a ball around. Expert fun-haver and treat-giver. All force free methods all the time, no ifs, ands, or buts. All about open lines of communication with pets and their humans. WILL teach your dog or cat neat tricks, WILL send you cute videos. I work part-time and have a very flexible schedule. Experienced with reactive dogs, shy cats, overexcited dogs, rambunctious cats and everything in between.

My 7 month puppy Goose had an amazing time with Joey! It was especially great since it was his first time being at doggy day care. She sent me updates on how he was doing, took him for a long hike and made me feel that he was well looked after.
Gus had a great time with Joey! He came home happy, well-exercised and having made new friends. Will definitely re-book in the future!
I'm so glad I left my girl Xena in the caring hands of Joey. I received lots of pictures while I was away and felt confident that she was being cared for and she was having a great time. This was my first rover experience and I will definitely be back.
So happy to have Joey looking in on our 8-week old puppy! He’s certainly a crazy one but it looks like she has it covered :)
