Pet care experience
Hi Everyone, My name is Joemarie G. I have had animals all my life, mostly dogs ranging from small Chihuahuas/Yorkies to German Shepherds and Boxers. I worked as a supervisor at a doggie daycare and boarding facility for 5 years and loved spending my days with the pups. Throughout my time there I have gained experience in taking care of the pups that visit; from making meals, walking the pups, cleaning their space, and learning to recognize and correct some dog behaviors. I have recently relocated to Iselin and am looking for an opportunity to continue to do what I love a little closer to home. Working around my current job schedule I will be available to sit or walk your pups most weekends and holidays (I'll make sure to keep my availability as updated as possible). I’m a hard worker who hopes to one day be able to open her own pet care business! I hope to get the opportunity to meet with you and your pup!

Joemarie has been the best dog walker for my dog, Sirius. When we first got Sirius, he was anxious about being home alone, but then we found Joemarie! She would come over and take him on long walks and send us photos of him. When my husband and I would come home, we could tell that Sirius was happy and worn out from his playtime with Joemarie. We could also tell how happy he was from her photos. When we tell Sirius that she is coming to walk him, his tag goes crazy.
Joemarie It’s an outstanding dog sitter, dog walker. She has shown me to be a responsible adult. She is very alert, and concerns of the dogs well-being. She’s very communicative. And fun to be around.
Joemarie is extremely caring, thoughtful and responsible. She started watching our puppy Cruz when he was only two months old and made the entire process really easy on us. She sent picture updates all the time and checked in if Cruz was sick or just to see how he was doing. She took extra special care of him and really treated him as if he was her own dog. Joemarie recently relocated and we were so sad to lose her :( she still checks in on Cruz because she cares. Joemarie has such a big heart and I am 100% confident that she will exceed all of your expectations!!
Everyone who knows me knows I'm a dog fanatic and the love of my life is my big sweet shepherd/Golden mix, Harbor dog. He will be 15 next week (!) and requires special care. Joemarie is one of 3 people on earth I completely trust to take care of him. She is excellent with all dogs: kind, loving and responsible, she is what anyone who's picky about their pets would hope for in a dog sitter.

All pups (pets) are welcome! :) I don’t have any breed preferences. I do have experience in administering oral medications and working with dogs who have special needs. I am always happy to answer any questions clients may have via email before any bookings happen! I'm always here to help! Questions I would ask new clients are the following; - Is your pup spayed or neutered? - Are they up to date with their vaccines? - Are they dog/people friendly? - Are they toy/food aggressive/possessive? - Do they have any favorite activities? - Any likes or dislikes? - What is their daily routine and feeding schedule like? - Does your pup have any health issues I should know about? - If they have any food allergies or any allergies in general? - What commands does your pup know? Are there certain commands you want me to follow during their walks or at home. ie. a command to eat, go potty, to sleep, etc. -Do they have any behaviors or things that might trigger a certain response from them, ie: loud noises, children, strangers, bicycles, cars, skateboards, other dogs, etc. ** The answers you provide will allow me to take care of your baby to the best of my ability.** **Additional Pets will be an added cost to be discussed during the initial meet up**
A typical day
Our walks will be around the area of the home to ensure that the pup is comfortable while on the walk. If allowed we can visit the dog parks and get our snuggle on while at home! While sitting pups at your home I will stay at the homes with your pup. I believe at having someone with their pups in case of a late night or early morning emergency.

I work weekdays until 3 but am available for walks and check ins. During the weekends I can provide sitting at clients homes. Providing individual care for their pups.
