I have loved dogs for as long as I can remember. When I was younger, my parents used to have to stop me from petting every dog I passed on the street (still happens sometimes!). I spent one summer in high school volunteering at a dog shelter in Los Angeles, where I would walk about three dogs per visit. I also took care of my cousin's Miniature Pinscher for four days this past fall. I walked her three times a day, fed her in the morning, afternoon, and evening, and made sure that she felt comfortable in my apartment. I would love to spend my free time during the week helping to care for dogs, because it is something that really gives me a lot of joy.
