Pet care experience
I have been taking care of animals since I was a young kid. I have had experience caring for horses for 12 years, dogs for 6 years, cats for 4 years, and have cared for guinea pigs, bunnies, birds, bearded dragons, and other farm animals. I have always been an animal lover and would love to continue working with them! I’ll always give yours the same love I give mine!

Joelle and josh are wonderful with animals and instantly helped our rescue pup, Zoe, feel at home for her first time being boarded. After meeting them and their pets, we had complete confidence and trust that Zoe would be cared for like one of the family. Joelle took such care to understand any special needs that Zoe had and truly went above and beyond . Zoe was very happy and became best buddies with their sweet dog, Tenney. We would not hesitate to board her again with Joelle and her family!
Joelle took the best care of our dog for the weekend! She was super responsive prior to our dog’s stay and would send daily updates and pictures while we were away. Our dog had the best time playing with her puppy and came back exhausted from the weekend. We highly recommend Joelle and will be bringing our dog back the next time we travel!

For check-ins I will not just walk in check the animal or bring them out to relieve themselves and then just leave. I will always be much more personal than that, even if the pet prefers his/her own space I will still spend some time being around to keep them some company and so they get to know me over time. For my own pets, we have routine which I think can be very helpful! In the morning the cats get fed at the same time as the puppy. I take the puppy on a 20 minute walk after breakfast and then give the cats some attention before playing with the puppy before his nap, etc. I ensure that I make all my animals an equal priority with attention, play, and care.

A typical day
I love to create a fun day with dogs whether it’s being just as excited as them to go on a hike (I love foxboro trails and lasalette in Attleboro), or even have a fun time in the backyard playing together. I also love adding in training for some mental stimulation too!

Availability
I am normally available for wednesdays, Thursday’s, fridays, saturdays, and sundays. I will always keep my schedule updated by one to two weeks at a time, but will try to update a whole month of what I have available!
