Pet care experience
I've been fostering and volunteering with animals since 2016. Working with animals has always been a passion of mine! I'm especially well versed in working with special needs cats, be it behavior or medical concerns. 𝐀𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞, 𝐈'𝐦 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐛𝐨𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐦𝐲 𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐞. I have an extra bedroom in my home specifically for cat boarding! They will be kept separated from my resident cat, and have the entire bedroom all to themselves, with lots of toys, scratchers, and cozy spots available. I only accept one family of cats at a time. I am experienced in giving oral medications and Adequan injections to cats.

Joelle was really a lifesaver for me! She responded promptly to my late request to have my cats housed and she was so kind and accommodating. She sent plenty of pictures and updates and I could tell my cats really enjoyed their time with her. I would recommend Joelle for anyone who needs their kittens watched!
She is the best and my kittens was able to settle in just fine! The extra room was large enough and had plenty of toys and a window for the cat! I would highly recommend and definitely be using her again! 10/10!

For boarding in my home, I have a quiet guest room with a bed, cozy chair, and toys. I'm meticulous about watching the door behind me to make sure there are no interactions with my resident cat.

I have no breed preferences or restrictions at all! It is helpful to know if your pet is afraid of any specific actions or movements (such as touching their head, or standing up abruptly). It's very important for me to know upfront if your pet takes any medications, and what schedule they need to be given on. Please also let me know about any allergies or sensitivities.
A typical day
When I visit a cat in their home, my usual routine is feeding them, filling water bowls, scooping litter boxes, and then it's time for play or snuggles!

I work from home and set my own schedule, so working play time or socialization in any time of the day is my usual routine. One of my favorite work breaks is to go around and give love to all the animals in my home! I regularly bring my laptop into the extra bedroom to work while hanging out with any cats staying there :)
