Hi There! My name is Joel and I'm so excited to be your next dog sitter/walker! Before I start I want you to know that I will only ever take care of one dog at a time, not several at once because I believe your dog is special and deserves one on one love and attention. My girlfriend, Tess, and I are avid dog lovers who both grew up with dogs. I grew up having two Golden Retrievers who I love dearly (Eddy and Rowdy)! I have had over 10 years of experience training young dogs and taking care of elderly dogs. My goal is to make your dog (and YOU) feel as comfortable as possible with me watching over him/her. I can’t wait to become best buds with your pup! I look forward to connecting soon!

Joel was amazing! went well above and beyond with our puppy :)
Joel was absolutely amazing with my French bulldog puppy, Maddie. I met him before scheduling the walks and he's friendly, cheerful and is a natural with dogs. He went above and beyond during their walk time, taking Maddie to the dog park, playing ball with her on our deck, and making sure she was fed and had fresh water. I could tell Maddie was having a great time. He also sent lots of messages about their time together and took some great photos. I'd recommend Joel 100% and am looking forward to rebooking him.
Joel was fantastic taking care of Auggie! He brought lots of energy and was genuinely excited to spend time with our pup! I highly recommend him!
Joel is a natural with pups of all kinds and such a pleasure to work with! Before starting his own work with Rover, he worked with me on may pup sits. He has a special ability to be both gentle and fun, making even the shyest (or grumpiest) of pups feels right at home when hanging out with him. Joel is a go to choice for your furry family!

Please let me know if your dog loves cuddles or prefers a more professional relationship. I have worked with dogs of all levels of comfortability and I am able to adapt easily to a dog’s comfort level.
A typical day
I live right by prospect park - I would love to walk your dog through the park and explore nature together! I am willing to run with dogs that want to run, but I also love a casual slower paced walk for dogs who just want to enjoy being outside.
