The last experience didn’t meet our expectations. We scheduled an overnight stay for our cat while went out of town to see a show. It’s a cat so not much is needed. We asked that he follow her feeding time regimen, keep fresh water available, play with her using her toy a little bit, and scoop the litter box as needed. The stay got off to a rough start. We got a text a few hours prior that he would be about four hours late due to unforeseen circumstances. Okay, life happens, we were already out, it’s a cat, she can handle it. Four hours became five and half- we know because we have an alarm and an electronic door lock. There was no follow-up which left us sitting in the show wondering where he was and if he was actually going to make it. He did, finally, a little after 9 pm, but the visit was in and out. We assume just to put down some food, because he left shortly there after- 14 minutes. A couple of hours later (it’s now 11 pm) he made another quick in and out-7 minutes. Then nothing until 11 am the next morning. Again, in and out- 4 minutes. The feeding schedule was off, the little box was not scooped. Most importantly, we schedule (and pay for) overnight because we don’t the animal alone in the house at night. We tell our sitters we don’t expect them to be captive in the house, but he was in there a grand total of 25 minutes. disappointed
