Hi there, My name is Joel. I just finished grad school (genetics) and I am transitioning into my new career, so I am looking for extra cash in the meantime with an extremely flexible schedule. I have grown up with 90+ lb dogs since I was a child, so large dogs are certainly not a problem. The past few years I have volunteered as a dog walker for the Harrisburg Humane Society, so I am also comfortable with new and random dogs. I am familiar with clicker training and will use and reinforce whatever commands you use. However, I will NOT use any negative reinforcement techniques (spanking or related). I am a distance runner, so you if you have a dog you'd like to go for jogs or hikes, we can certainly discuss that. I have also grown up with cats my entire life, and I am also extremely comfortable with them. I am comfortable with giving medication to both dogs and cats, be it pills or shots. Beyond volunteering for animals, I also volunteer as an assistant high school wrestling coach and with students at Milton Hershey School. I am a low key and relaxed individual who is easy to work with. Anywhere around and between Hershey/Lancaster area would be easiest for me, but if you're at all interested feel free to contact me!
