I have owned dogs all of my life. I did a lot of dog sitting in my neighborhood (forest heights) as a teenager. I am getting back into the field as a second job (I work for Mad Science) and I am interested in becoming and academic artist. I enjoy dogs and other pets (cats welcome) and would look forward to working with lots of different breeds. I would do daycare but I have a 11 year old King Charles cavalier and I do not want him to be stressed. Walks: I try to spend any walks actively, but let me know if your dog is the type that wants to spend the whole time sniffing :) House sitting: my rate includes a 40 minute walk plus potty breaks.

Joel has been a completely reliable dog walker, even with snow challenges this season. My two dogs get very excited when they see him coming for a walk, and he has worked with them consistently on heeling and sitting. I would highly recommend hos services to anyone!
Joel has been an amazing dog walker for our high emergy Jack Russell sisters! He has been meticulously on-time and reliable, keeps up the "heel" training we asked him to do on the walks, and has showered attention and affection on them while we are away at work. He has been walking them twice a week for nearly 2 months already, and we plan to extend his contract for many months to come. I would highly recommend him as a dog caretaker in any capacity--- he is clearly a dog lover!
I've known Joel for over twenty years and give him my highest recommendation. He is, considerate, timely, responsible and an all-around good friend. He dog sat my Bernese Mountain Dog, Rocco, on several occasions and I tend to think Rocco liked him more than myself when he came over. I feel Joel would make a great sitter for any of your needs.
