Joe recently house sat for us over the weekend and while we are pleased with how the house was cared for, we felt like the communication/ timeliness had room for improvement. We asked Joe to arrive around 7pm to give our dogs dinner and he didn’t come until 9:15pm without any text communicating he was running late. We are very flexible people but just became worried that maybe he forgot/ wasn’t coming and eventually reached out to check in. The next day he was with our dogs in the morning, stopped back at the house around 3pm and then didn’t return again until 9:15, after our dogs were supposed to have dinner. We have one dog that is very anxious and unfortunately becomes very worked up when she feels like she won’t get her dinner on time. This was a bit frustrating to us since we told Joe the time we feed the dogs and had it typed up for him. Overall, Joe was kind and gave good updates when reached out to, and our dogs were happy when we arrived home, but I’d maybe suggest better communication.

Joe is absolutely wonderful! I would whole heartedly recommend him to anyone needing boarding, walks, etc. He truly cares about animals and making sure everything is taken care of. He even goes the extra mile by offering you to come see his place prior to having your dog boarded. DEFINITELY will be using
