Pet care experience
I grew up in the Yorkshire dales, in a little village called East Witton. Surrounded by countryside, we regularly took my two Jack Russels for walks and played with them on the village green. Fast forward 15 years and I live in London. We regularly go back to visit our mum, and although Ben and Bramble (our two beloved Jack Russels) have passed away we now have a gorgeous Black and Tan Jack Russell: Alfie. Meanwhile over at our dads, it may as well be a dog sanctuary. Rugs, the (oldest of the bunch) is a happy-go-lucky spaniel that loves running and attention! We have his partner in crime - Chilli, who happens to be Alfie’s grandmother, and another loveable Black and Tan Jack Russel. We recently took in Sizzle, a miniature Dachshund who barks a lot and still hasn’t been fully potty trained - I think all dog owners can empathise with this. Pixel is the last of my dad's dogs who is the fastest little Terrier you’ve ever seen and loves a stroke. One of my favourite dogs in the world, however, is my friend’s family’s dog: Alfie. An old English sheepdog with the best temperament you could ask for- he is loving, caring, enjoys attention (but not too much) and has a passion for squirrels. Recently I had the privilege to look after him for 10 days whilst the family went to Thailand and I couldn’t have been happier. As you can see I have a passion for dogs, and I cannot wait to own one once I have my own place and enough time to dedicate to him/her. Instead, I would like to dedicate our time to your dog, to keep them company and hopefully to give them a new friendship. Look forward to meeting you and your little pups. I’m currently working partly from home and free many weekends so I have plenty of time for your little pup. Looking forward to the play time and walks already. I have a fenced yard that the dogs can go out into to do their business. This can also be used to play fetch. We have a huge park nearby that I will be taking them on walks to.
Reviews
Joe looked after my pet Beagle very nicely, updated me with photos/videos, would recommend!
Joe and his housemates really looked after Buddy, he was clearly happy when I picked him up and it was a great relief to know he was in good hands. Joe also accepted Buddy on very short notice and it really helped me out, highly recommended ?
Joe was brilliant and accepted our booking at short notice. I'm always really nervous leaving the dogs with other people as Monty is so full of energy and even more so on this occasion as Bonnie was in Pup. However, Joe put us at ease straight away and the dogs adored him the moment they met him. Joe took them on multiple walks whilst they were there and keep us up to date constantly with photos and videos. Joe clearly has a passion for dogs and the dogs reciprocated this. We will definitely be using Joe again. :)
Joe accepted a last minute booking for me. I was completely comfortable handing Pepper over. I am, always worried about pepper having too much energy for people to handle but Joe handled this well and took him on a brilliant dog walk I would very much recommend joe to anyone with a energetic puppy Rachel
