Animal Lover w/ Dog-Friendly Office
Pet care experience
I’m an animal lover who has a long history of caring for my own, family’s, roommate’s, and neighbor’s dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters and gerbils. I do not currently have any animals of my own but love to live vicariously through other people’s pets. I can’t wait to meet yours!
Reviews
Joe has watched my pup a few time now and you can certainly tell he loves taking care of dogs! Non-Stop attention, belly rubs and energetic activities. I sometimes feel my dog loves him more than me 😜. Highly recommend the trustworthy and caring, Joe. I can’t wait for him to watch my dog again!

Safety, trust & environment
I only take one “family” of animals at a time, meaning I will not board your animal(s) with others. This is for both the safety and the comfort of the animals in my care. The only exception is if you and a friend both have animals from separate households who are friendly with each other and the two of you arrange it together.

Information Joe H. would like to know about your pet
I’d like to know about the dog’s size, energy levels and exercise requirements, if they enjoy fetch or would prefer a walk, how well they do off leash, and how they are with other dogs.
A typical day
As mentioned, I work Monday - Friday, 9-5, however if you’re comfortable with it, I’ll be bringing your doggo with me into the office where they’ll be in an excellent position to receive plenty of attention throughout the day. We’ll go for walks or play fetch before and/or after the work day depending on your dogs needs, and they’ll receive frequent potty breaks throughout the day. I enjoy hiking on the weekends and would love an enthusiastic dog companion on my hikes, however if your dog is more of a homebody, I don’t mind hanging out at home either.

I work full time, year round, Monday through Friday, 9-5, however I have a very dog-friendly office. If I am caring for your dog during the work week and you are comfortable with me doing so, I will bring your dog into the office with me during the workday. This will allow me to provide more frequent potty breaks, and your dog will receive much more attention, from myself and others, than if left alone in my apartment. Furthermore, while I may live in an apartment, most of my neighbors have dogs and the large, common yard might as well be a dog park. If your dog is friendly with others, this will be a perfect for them to socialize! However, if your dog is more of an introvert, we should be able to steer clear of these other dogs as well. I enjoy going for hikes on the weekends, so if your dog is down for that, excellent. However, if your dog is more of a homebody, we can hang around at home too. Daily walks or fetch in the morning and/or evening is also on the menu depending on your dogs needs.
