I want to dog sit because I have owned a dog nearly all my life and I know how important mine is to me. I want to make sure you know your dog is is good hands. I grew up with two large mutts and two labs when I was living with my parents. Since leaving home, I've been a dog watcher, sitter, and walker at various times. I was a dog sitter in the rural villages of Alaska and in the heart of urban areas like Binghamton, New York and New York City. As a result, there is no situation or schedule I cannot adapt to for you and your pet. The schedule for your dog can be as individual as it needs to be, but I like to take my dog on walks through parks, play with him in our fenced yard, and occasionally treat him to Wiggly Park. Even indoors, your dog is welcome to share the toys with my dog who shares all the time with my sister-in-law's dog. I currently own a five-year-old lab who acts like a puppy and loves to fetch. He gets along great with other dogs of all sizes. I love that my daughter will grow up having a dog of her own and get to play with other dogs from time to time. I am a teacher so for the entire summer, I am very available. Once school goes back, I will likely substitute teach to spend time with my daughter; I would welcome the opportunity to spend time with your dog as well. For the next few months, my priority will be your dog's care and spending time with them. My wife and two-year-old daughter will be around and would also enjoy playing with your dog. My daughter loves her puppy and will love yours too, but will not be responsible for feeding, watering, or providing medications. She loves to throw tennis balls for our dog and splash in her little pool in the backyard; maybe your dog would enjoy that as well. I hope you'll provide your dog a warm, loving atmosphere with lots of fun when you cannot be available. I'll make sure that's what your dog will get with me.
