Experienced Animal Caregiver

Pet care experience

Dogs are magnificent animals. No other beings are as compassionate and joyful. It's a privilege to spend time with them. I am here to provide care for your pet when you can't, be it a walk or company overnight. I have six years of experience working with animals. I have rescued dogs and have helped train them. As a result, I am very knowledgeable of their needs, including those that have behavioral quirks or health issues. As far as my training experience goes, I have two years of dog training experience. I specialize in Huskies, working breeds and toy breeds. I have a wonderful dog of my own, Lily. She is a Husky and she's a Dog Ambassador-- she loves making new friends. If you don't have dogs, don't worry! I have over 11 years of reptile care experience too. I own a 10 year old Green Iguana, a 9 year old Bearded dragon, a 4 year old Red Tailed Boa Constrictor, a 3 Year old Green Basilisk and a 1 year old Savannah Monitor. It's a full house, but I love them all! I have owned, rescued and rehabilitated a number of species such as Cameroon 4 Horned Chameleons, a Frilled Lizard, Leopard Geckos, Rock Pythons, Ball Pythons, and even Snapping Turtles. I have also a lot of experience with exotic fresh water fish. I'm so excited to meet other dogs and learn about their personalities. I'm also excited to look after more reptiles if you have any scaly friends. Please reach out to me with any questions, I can't wait to hear from you.

Joe is a dog master! He was so great with my dog lily, and was very reliable and trustworthy. He would take her for long walks and give her all the play time she wanted! I plan on using him again and recommending him to my friends in the near future!

I have a shy German Shepard ... I've been the only one to ever walk him because of how scared he gets around others ... Until we met Joe. Joe is a literal dog whisperer. They now go on walks every day, which means my lunch breaks are back! When I went home for Thanksgiving, Joe took care of him for me -- first time I've ever left my pup with anyone, and I knew he was in great hands.

For as long as I have known Joe, he has always showed such unconditional love for all animals. He always makes sure they have the best of the best to live happy, healthy, and long lives. When it comes to dogs, Joe is an expert. Whether it is taking them for daily trips to the dog park to get their exercise or teaching them tricks, Joe makes sure to connect with the dogs he works with. He knows just how to train them so they obey his command and behave. Joe's dog is only a puppy, yet is one of the best behaved dogs that I know and that's due to his loving and caring attitude towards her. He is definitely the ideal caregiver.

Information Joe B. would like to know about your pet

I'd love to know how your dog is with other dogs and strangers. What is their personality like? What can I do to make them comfortable? What health issues or behavioral quirks should I keep an eye out for?

A typical day

When I take Lily on walks, we usually go for long walks from 67th st to 91st in North Bergen and I'd love to bring your dog too. We make stops at the 88th St Dog Park. There we will play fetch and practice training exercises with some of her friends when they are at the park as well!
