Growing up in a pet loving home, I have cared for rodents, reptiles, rabbits, and birds over the years in addition to our late Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and current Pit-mix rescue. In the past, I have looked after dogs from Shih tzus to Rotts and Labs. I am working during the week 7-5 with the podiatry department at the Salem VA medical center until the weekend before Christmas. I enjoy a near-daily jog and am very welcome to having a canine companion, and would be more than happy to set aside part of my weekends or evenings to looking after a pup or two. Otherwise, I am very laid back, try to keep myself occupied, and enjoy finding the uniqueness of wherever I find myself.
