The Pups Are Family

Pet care experience

I have had several dogs over the last 15 years. One of them being a Saint Bernard. She taught me so much during that time about unconditional love, patience, & putting others' needs before your own. This is when I learned I was put on this earth to love and care for the pups. We were out 3-4 times a day for walks in our neighborhood, regular trips to Baker Park, and lots of friends over to play in the fenced yard. I am able to administer daily medications including feeding tubes if necessary and if you have special food preparations just let me know. I'm currently foster and train rescue dogs as well. Dogs have a special place in my heart and I'm so fortunate to have the time to be there for them. I look forward to meeting you and taking care of your pup.

I am a neighbor of Joe Anderson. I have known him mostly by seeing him walking his beloved dog, Jezebel. He was always warm and cordial as he walked her faithfully every day with great love. He was devoted to this dog and even told me he planned his business trips around her care with neighbors. If they could not be available to care for dog while he was traveling, he would not travel. When Jezebel got quite ill and needed surgery, Joe took off from work and stayed home with her for over two weeks to care for her. Her passing was a great loss to him and our neighborhood, as we loved seeing her. I have never known a more devoted and loyal pet owner and lover than Joe Anderson. I highly recommend him for any dog care position he may desire to have. They would be lucky to have him! Sincerely, Renay Shutter

Joe Anderson exceeds all expectations as a dog caretaker for his reliability, responsiveness, experience, and most of all, his sincere compassion for dogs! You can count on Joe to go the extra mile to keep your pet happy and healthy! Our dog absolutely loves her time with Joe and she is always spoiled by all the love and attention she gets from him. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience dealing with mild to serious dog health conditions, as well as the patience and calm demeanor to provide comfort when they are anxious or sick. His love for dogs extends into volunteer work to support dog rescue organizations. Joe definitely sets a high bar as a dog caretaker and we are so fortunate we found someone as caring and competent as him!

Could not be more pleased with the experiences we have had with Joe taking care of our dog. He is very friendly, professional, prompt, and detail oriented. He cared for our dog just as we asked him to; at times I think our dog likes him more than she does our family. His love of animals is clearly evident, and my family will continue to use his services.

I would like to personally recommend Joe for the opportunity to work with pets. I have known Joe for several years now, and have found him to be a very helpful, kind person, especially with pets. I know Joe to be trustworthy, responsible, and friendly. I am sure that Joe would be a great asset to this company.

For daily dog boarding and overnights prefer to care for one client at a time. The big dogs have a special place in my heart however all dogs are welcome.

A typical day

Lots of walks if your pup enjoys them. Large fenced in yard to run leash free. Bring their favorite toys and we will play. If it's raining outside, I have a large basement where we can run and play.
