Pet care experience
I am a healthy senior citizen who currently lives in an apartment. I have two cats, so no other pets can be here. I've had many pets in my lifetime, which include dogs, cats, a hamster, a parakeet, a Ball Python (re-homed when my grandson was born), chickens and an iquana. When I was young, I used to help my grandma on her farm in Oregon, milking goats, and feeding all her farm animals. She also used to raise standard poodles - great dogs! I look forward to meeting your pets at your homes!

Jodie was wonderful!! Clementine was very calm and relaxed because she got to stay in her own house. She went on her walks as she usually does and Jodie sent me pictures to let me know how she was doing. I was very happy since it was my first time leaving her with someone. I would use her again in a heartbeat.
Jodie took great care of our dog for a week. She communicated regularly making our vacation much more relaxing!
Jodie is THE BEST! Our dogs love Jodie, and we don’t worry about a thing when she’s with them.
Jodie did a great job with our pets! We had a 3 month old labradoodle and a cat that Jodie housesat while my wife and I were on our honeymoon. We got tons of pictures and videos while we were gone, would definitely use again!

Are they house trained? What signal do they use when they want to go out? What treats are they allowed to have? Are they fed at certain times or is their food left out?
A typical day
I prefer to play with dogs in their own yard, especially large dogs. The reason for this is that I don’t know when your dog might see something that will make it lunge and possibly break free from the leash. Yards feel safer. I throw balls and toys, and let the dogs do most of the exercising.

Availability
I am a full-time Lyft and Uber driver. If we agree on a sitting arrangement, I make sure the pets are first. If you want me to stay at your place the entire time, then I try to work that out. If I can’t, I will decline but explain that it’s nothing personal. If you say it’s ok for me to be gone a few hours here and there, then I’ll give some rides before I come back for their next potty, food or play break. I love pet sitting, but Lyft and Uber pay my bills (just to be upfront with you).
