Pet care experience
My name is Jodie and I would love the chance to care for your dog as if it were my own. I have a Chocolate Lab/Pit Bull mix who is very spoiled and well exercised, which is what I hope to provide your pet! I have been a volunteer with Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Center for almost two years and have been walking dogs through them for nearly a year and a half. I have taken some veterinary assistant courses through the Gale Course program provided by the Milwaukee Public libraries for my own personal enrichment and I will soon be learning pet first aid and CPR. I hope to be hearing from you and I cannot wait to meet your dog! Thanks!

I have known Jodie for about a year. She has worked with all breeds of dogs especially pit bulls. She is kind and compassionate to all. She uses positive reinforcement and training when walking dogs. She also gives them snuggles. I definitely recommend her for walking dogs in all kinds of weather. She is a true dog lover and knows how to work with them.
Pets first. Always. Jodie has always put pet's safety and comfort first and foremost in her decision-making process. Whether it be her dogs or the surrendered dogs she walks weekly at the shelter. She's always in the mood for a hard luck case or a pampered pet.

A typical day
I am a big fan of destination walks, such as trips to Lake Park as well as other public parks, different stretches of the Oak Leaf and Hank Aaron Trails, 3 Bridges, 7 Bridges, anywhere that can be explored that isn't "just around the block." I also enjoy frisbee and tennis ball fetch if your dog enjoys that, as well.
