Pet care experience
Hi! I'm Jodi, and I have loved animals my whole life and owned many, including dogs, horses, cats, rabbits, parakeets, fish, a turtle, and gerbils. My house is 15-20 minutes away from downtown Nashville and just off I-40 near the Percy Priest Dam. I work full-time during the week, M-Th-F at home and T-W at the office, which is about 10 minutes from my house. I have a fully fenced-in yard (wood privacy fence) with grass and young trees. My girls are Emma and Monica. They are both rescued border collie/? mixes (aka foster fails): Emma is 7 years old and Monica is a year and a half. We enjoy playing ball in the backyard, walks around the neighborhood, and occasional visits to the nearby dog park. They LOVE meeting new people and dogs. My girls always come first. They gets lots of time outside most days unless the weather is bad. They typically eat breakfast around 7-8 and supper around 5-6. (Emma is very insistent on her eating schedule. :-) ) I've been fostering and keeping dogs for over ten years, and I promise to take great care of your pup(s) while you're away and send pictures as often as you prefer. I look forward to hearing from you! Please note: I strongly prefer to keep dogs that are crate trained, potty trained, and have good inside manners. I will not keep unneutered males or unspayed females unless they are under eight months old. I am also NOT comfortable with Chows.
Reviews
Jodi did a fantastic job watching our dogs. She sent daily pictures and made sure they felt at home! Our dogs got a long we’ll with her dogs and she has an awesome back yard for them to run and play in. I would absolutely use Jodi again.
Jodi was great! She responded quickly and sent pictures of our sweet boy while we were gone.
Jodi took great care of Eli. She sent daily picture updates.
Jodi is an excellent communicator. We love leaving our pup with her. She sends us lots of cute photos and he loves playing with her dogs.

I am very careful with my own and other people’s dogs. I have firsthand experience with my own flight risk girl and recently endured my worst nightmare when she got free while staying with a sitter when I was out of town and there was an accident. Thank God she is ok! I don’t want anyone else to have to go through that, so I will be very diligent in caring for your dog! (If anything should happen despite my best efforts, please know that Rover does an excellent job offering support and helping! Again, I have firsthand experience. Thank you, Rover!!)

Information Jodi H. would like to know about your pet
Is your dog crate trained? Well-mannered? How often and how much do you feed? Where does he/she stay during the day if left alone and sleep at night? Any bad habits or dislikes I should know of?
A typical day
We usually get up around 6-7 and eat breakfast, then the dogs play in the yard and do their business. They play inside and nap while I work during the week. I usually give them supper around 5-7. My neighborhood has lots of sidewalk space.

My two girls are my life. I take care of them first thing in the morning every day and they sleep with me every night, usually on the bed.
