NEW REGULATIONS: 4 NIGHT MINIMUM AND 4WK OUT NOTICE TO GET ON THE SCHEDULE when possible. FARM DROP HOURS: 11a to 3p during the week. Weekends are 1p to 4p. I'm mostly home all the time so if you need a different time just let me know the day before and an hours out ETA. MUST BE FIXED AND FULLY CRATE TRAINED. One night sleepover is highly recommended to acclimate each dog Columbia address is about 50 min drive south off 65. Exit 46 DOGS & CATS LOVE THE FARM & ALWAYS EXCITED TO RETURN! DOG'S DREAM & HOME AWAY FROM HOME DOG PARK SETUP AT SUNNY 5 ACRE DOG FARM. ** DAILY SHUTTLE OPTIONAL - TBS " to be scheduled based upon availability" FARM LOCATION ADDRESS: 3083 SOWELL MILL PIKE COLUMBIA TN 38401 40mins south of Brentwood on I65 - i will text you directions via my cell works the best. 708.eight43.2069.. Make sure I get your phone number upon meeting. Directions must be sent because some have gotten lost. Google is a mess but heard Waze works best! You're welcome to see the Dog Farm are scheduled Tues to Thurs AM Preferred for first time sleepover. Only taking a few new clients each week. Because we will only take regulars for holidays 30 to 40 dogs. My neighbor now takes 10 to 15 overflow as an option. 3 mile away for my location 6 acres property. GARY is a retired military vet and dog trainer so he's home most of the day too and his wife JEN loves having them too! LIMITED TRANSPORT OPTIONS: From Brentwood - Exit 69 Moores Lane) *NOTE: we prefer you to mostly meet at the farm. It's better and safer for the pups for me to stay put at the farm. Scheduled Transport meets are subject to change times or even canceled due to work load. We try to be as flexible as we can. This is an extra benefit we offer to save clients travel time not so much a guaranteed service. I know how much error and danger could happen when every dog acts different in stressful circumstances and work to improve upon safety at all measures. Will your pup be a good fit? *If you'd be worried about taking your pup to Centennial Dog Park then my dog farm may not be a good fit for your pup! Mostly medium to large dogs but littles are welcome too (15 during the week and up to 30 on the weekends!) Only now accept CATS that come with a dog that is boarding also in the same family. Cats will have their own guestroom with windows away from the dogs. But due too the over stress of mostly have load dogs we no long take new cat clients. Dogs must have a good understanding of respecting me and the pack. PUPPIES or nervous dogs will be bullied amd challenged so they must be currently practicing good socialization skills and we will only accept with plans of having them fixed within 2 years. (2 puppy Max per weekend) Dogs must have a strong immune system: Older dogs need to have that and a strong appetite to deal with the stresses of coming here. Allergies are high and this tick seasons are bad lately. Send a pic of records to my phone. What Crate Trained means to us.. Dogs spend the majority of the daytime free roaming home and outside. For the safety of the pack while I'm not home. I'm mostly here 100% of the time. If not someone will be. Crates are necessary but you are not required to bring. (JUST BRING LABELED FOOD)  Used for: Night time sleeping, Time outs, or if I leave the farm for their safety while unattended. Otherwise, the pack will free roam the house and only outside if supervised by me or my husband. (No kids or other people - We like the farm as peaceful as possible not over stress the dog) If they are destructive to our crates it could be a hazard to them and we will report to you  *Muzzles will be used for the safety of the pack, you will be notified if used. Also muzzles can leave rub sores fast if they try to scratch them off their faces. We work with the dogs to get along and only if behaviors don't have good progress then the dog can't return to the farm. Is very rare. We understand dogs are not perfect when tired or scared) *Shock Collars- we found, don't work well here but will be used for very few if absolutely necessary. TBD. I try to no longer take dogs that require a shock collar. The pack responds and respects my vocal commands and whistles. Same page for me to help control and for their safety. What to bring? Just food - NO BOWLS (Slow Feeders are ok)*if you choose to bring other things put names on them. Use a transport bag with their name on it helps a lot. Please have a strong regular collar or we will use our collars. *Make sure your long haired dog isn't wearing a pull collar or I won't see it on them. Rover Payment - Please use and pay Rover for the first stay. In order to secure your boarding spot please pay Rover as soon as possible. They hold your payment till the stay is complete. If you cancel they will keep whatever fees you paid them or even more. * I have different rates for long term regulars. With that being said, if you have questions about my rates feel free to call or text. Message me for my cell number. I will report daily their progress good or bad and send amazing pics throughout Pics send better with my phone because Rovers load slow and cancel. $2 per meal for food in forgotten or run out. Tractor Supply Wholesome Fish Meal and Rice REFER FRIENDS AND RECEIVE A FREE NIGHT!! UNLIMITED. MORE FRIEND REFERRALS MORE FREE NIGHTS! CHEERS! I stay at home as much as possibly to spoil and care for the dogs. Hubby does all the shopping too!! Used to work in medical full time but now for the pups 100%! Safety is our #1 but issues still can happen. We have a 12 hour emergency vet. If a dog isn't good with the pack they will be isolated and monitored. We have 3 dog-friendly cats. Chasing is okay but if excessive or anything bad you will be notified.

Safety, trust & environment

5 acres are all fenced in. If your pups isn't able to trust me and the pack they might jump over or if a tiny dog can pull themselves through to run away. This hasn't happened but I will be honest to let you know if them are too uncomfortable to stay in the future. We have an awesome vet the does emergency work or he will refer to the ER vet close by. Yes there has been a handful or so of injuries to some high energy runners that get into trouble on the farm needing stitches, hurt muscles and joints, allergy issues, tummy issues and such.

A typical day

I have one dog named Sunny girl. She likes to go for walks and play catch. She adores other animals and likes to play with them. She is my little dog whisperer and gets along with any sort of behavior of dog. She will bark at you and it's loud. She thinks she's helping me

I am home 99% of the time or have a sitter if I'm gone more than 2 hours. We have 20 to 30 each weekend and holidays are reserved for regular clients. All dog intermingle and must get along and have good house rules. Crates are used for bedtime mostly and the pack is mostly indoors with me. Dogs have free range to roam the farm outside but I keep tabs on their where abouts and behaviors throughout the day but my eyes are not on them 100% but maybe 99.5%. We try to take naps through the day to not overdo running and playing. Can be exhausting for some and cause tummy upset. ** Please supply a little extra food for them buring extra calories. I usually give up to a 1/4 cup extra per meal. All sleep in our home and we sleep pretty hard. Breakfast 8 to 9am and diner 5 to 6. Put their names on everything including leashes or keep leashes with you at drop off. Also inquire about my regular discount rates for anything long term over a week.
