Pet care experience
I’ve always been a dog person, doing rescue & fostering in addition to pet sitting. I’ve had experience working with new born pups as well as cases with mange. I truly believe dogs are magical! Whether it’s playing fetch with a favorite toy, cuddling, or singing & dancing to music, their humans always get a photo of what we’re doing while I’m there. I have a flexible schedule & lots of references. I also have a house cleaning business, so being a neat freak, there should never be a problem with muddy paw prints in the house. I genuinely just plain love dogs & look forward to working with some new fur babies. There is nothing better than a never ending supply of unconditional love and a wagging tail.

Jode has cared for my dogs several times over the years, from a smallish terrier to a pit bull. She's always been reliable and caring, and I've always had peace of mind leaving my dogs in her care.
Reliable and loving to our three dogs. We went away for a long weekend and she came to our house four times per day over a four day period without a hitch.

I would prefer not to work with Akitas, as I was attacked by one several years ago. Aside from that, I have some breeds I get a kick out of more than others (I had an English Bully & I tend to go nuts over them) but size, age & breed are not issues for me at all.
A typical day
Whatever the dog’s usual schedule is what we’d follow, I’d imagine, but that doesn’t mean an outing is out of the question if the humans are ok with it. This includes walks through the woods as well as stroll through Hamden. And of course, lots of good conversation.
