Jocelyn's home was perfect for an energetic dog like mine!

I reserved day care service for my dog a few weeks ago. I utilized Rover services in the past, and did not have any negative experiences with previous sitters. Not only have I used rover for my own dog, but I have a majority of friends who use Rover as well. However, on this most recent occasion (April 24, 2018), Jocelyn, was overall unprofessional and I would never use her services, or recommend anyone to her. 1. She lacked basic communication with me regarding me picking up my dog: · I told and texted her the estimated time of arrival for me to pick up my dog and I also gave her an update when I was 10 minutes away. · I called her again when I was outside her apartment complex, and she did not respond to my calls or texts. · I waited five minutes to receive a response from her. · Her reasoning to why she was not answering was because she was still at a sorority meeting, and she instructed her roommate to bring me my dog. 2. I was unaware that my dog was left unattended for the sitter to be at a sorority meeting. · I never consented to Jocelyn’s roommate caring for my dog. · I never met the roommate, and I am unsure if the roommate has the adequate experience to handle my dog that requires extra care because he is very timid around strangers. · I specifically chose Jocelyn because her profile states that she has experience with dogs that requires extra care. · Had I had known that the roommate would be watching my dog, I would ask to meet and greet the roommate as well.
