Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Jocelyn Parks. I am a recent graduate from UIC and former student-athlete. I currently perform freelance marketing work for businesses of all sorts. My family has always had at least one dog in the household, so I am knowledgeable of breeds of all kinds and of course, love them! I currently have two dogs of my own (and a cat who thinks he is a dog!). I also volunteer for the Anti-Cruelty Society when I have the time (performing Dog Care before the shelter opens). Additionally, I participated in helping grow Saving City Tails, a new non-profit located here in Chicago helping homeless pets via unique experiences and art. Thank you for considering me to take care of your beloved pet(s)!
Reviews
Having known Jocelyn for the past ten years, I can confidently say that she is without a doubt the best animal lover I know. From caring for her two dogs (Dottie and Pepper) to volunteering at local animal shelters (AntiCruelty), she continually makes an effort to make animals' lives better. I have also been more than happy with the help she has provided with my own dog and believe she would do the same with anyone else's.

A typical day
Depending on your dog's needs, I will walk them appropriately and care for them as if they are my own. For example, both my dogs need regular exercise. My younger dog just has a lot of energy and simply, needs to get go out regularly. However, my older dog is starting to have problems with her hips. To combat this, I make sure she has the opportunity to stretch and strengthen her back leg muscles and hips. To keep them both happy, we go for long walks, but never over-do it with running to avoid soreness in my older dog.
