Being around animals my entire life has taught me how to properly care for them as well as making sure they are comfortable while you are away. Let me know how I can help you with any pet sitting services! About me: At the moment, I am studying nursing while working part-time as a caregiver for adults with disabilities. I love taking care of others and making a difference in their lives. I am an honest, hardworking, and reliable person who absolutely loves pet sitting. I have had dogs and cats (and gerbils, birds, lizards, etc.) my entire life and have been caring for all sorts of animals for over 15 years. Like caring for children, animals are children of your own and giving them the best care is very important to me. Also, I have experience administering medications as well as working with specific dietary needs.

We hired Jocelyn for drop-in visits for our dog and cat. She was very thorough and did a great job taking care of them. She provided pictures every day and gave us updates of how everything was going. We returned to very happy and well taken care of pets. Will definitely be using her again for future trips.
We were very pleased with the service Jocelyn provided. We were nervous about leaving our pet for almost a week, but Jocelyn did a great job of taking care of our kitty. We arrived home to find a happy cat and a clean litter box. Very pleased!
My husband and I (and our pup) absolutely love Jocelyn. We couldn't ask for someone more caring and compassionate than her! We know he is well taken care of and is treated with lots of love and respect when in Jocelyn's care. She is very quick to send us pictures/reports of our pup which I greatly appreciate, and on top of that she is never late or cuts corners when it comes to the care of our family member. I found Jocelyn through Rover and I'm glad I did. I have used her for walking my young cocker spaniel as well as an occasional drop-in as needed. She treats my dog Rex so well and is extremely thorough with her care. I won't be looking any further for anyone else. I highly recommend her.

I find it important to know what may cause distress, as well as things they really enjoy. For dog walking, do they like other dogs, children, etc.? Do they require medication? What is their temperament? Also any vet information you think is relevant.
A typical day
I love to keep dogs occupied and do activities with them that will make them happy. Such as going for long walks, playing ball, playing fetch, or anything else they may enjoy. For cats, I love to play with them using any of their favorite toys, and/or if they are not as active, I make sure to give them lots of love and attention :)

My caregiving job is quite flexible as I am able to pick my own schedule. I have school on certain days but I haven't had a problem with accommodating pet sitting at all.
