Aside from having pets, furry and scaled, all of my childhood, I’ve worked as an animal care tech at an animal shelter. This job taught me how to properly restrain, handle, and care for dogs of all behavior levels. I’ve also worked at a veterinary clinic, which is where I learned about a wide variety of pet medications and treatments. I also gained skills of medication administering, simple at home remedies for basic illness like GI upset & more. I currently have 4 pet who are all up to date on their vaccinations and treatments. (3 cats & 1 dog) You will never have to worry about how I take care of animals as I’ve gathered multiple animal husbandry and health care tips from previous jobs :) Oh yeah, did I forget to mention my BS in Animal Science? :p
