Dog lover all my life, missing the company!
Pet care experience
I have cared for dogs all my life at home involving all aspects of dog care including feeding, grooming, walking and training. Experience with mostly medium sized dogs but keen on large dogs. I work shift work so depends on the week, my partner is at home regularly and can be very flexible. We are active people outside of work, enjoy walking in open spaces. I am flexible to working based off the dogs usual routine and owners experiences. Regular walks in interesting areas with lots of smells and open space. If your dog has any special requirements. I am happy to tend to these. I am a doctor and grew up on a farm where I would be involved with animal care including injections.

I would highly recommend Jocelyn! Our dog has real anxiety issues and wouldn’t cope well in kennels but Jocelyn and her boyfriend did an amazing job looking after her in our home. We felt really at ease knowing she was being so well cared for while we were away and Jocelyn kept us informed as to how she was doing so we didn’t have to worry. They took the time to do a meet and greet prior to the stay which really helped, and we could instantly see how they are natural animal lovers and our dog was really comfortable with them. We’ll definitely be rebooking!
Jocelyn has always been a fantastic carer for dogs. She has a great way with all dogs she meets, and is at home with a dog or dogs by her side. She has always had family dogs and is missing not having a dog around all the time now due to moving away from home and being unable to keep a dog in her new home.

I would love to know about your dogs routine and what they like to do. I think knowing about their current training and boundaries at home and when out for walks are very important so I can continue to encourage training. If your dog has any special requirements or health issues I would like to know about them and I am happy to tend to these. If they are particularly nervous/timid I would also like to know to ensure I can provide appropriate care for them.
A typical day
I love taking dogs to places they can explore and use their noses and exercise with plenty of space. If the dog(s) are comfortable with cars I would be keen to take them to nearby beaches or wooded areas. I also love to play with dogs at home, including training games I play regularly with my energetic family dog! If they enjoyed the company of other dogs I would consider bringing my family dog for a walk with them so they can both socialise.
