Rain or Shine Thank you for checking out my profile! I recently moved here from Texas and unfortunately, I couldn't bring my clients with me but when I go back I still visit each of them. I am a Scientific Based, Positive Reinforcement Dog Trainer, which means I believe in reward-based training over punishment. I am a certified AKC CGC Evaluator and also have a certificate in canine CPR & First Aid which I now teach myself. I am currently working towards my certification as an Animal Behaviorist. Depending on your dog's size and age I focus more on distance vs time. For my medium to large dogs, we typically walk 2 miles. If you have a dog that is not very good on the leash we may just walk a few blocks focusing more on loose leash work which will tire most dogs out more than the average walk, our goal will be to work up to a nice 2-mile loose leash walk with sniffing and no pulling. Regardless walks are never less than 30 minutes. Unless there is something physically wrong with the dog. I treat all of my furry clients as if they were my own and love each of them for their individuality. They always have something new to teach me! I study canine behavior so I'm always paying close attention to their actions and what they are trying to communicate with me. I work well with fearful dogs and will try to work with dogs that are reactive (however I never want to put your dog in a situation that will work against him or her). Your pet is my number one concern when time is being spent together. I will send pictures and give a daily report card so you know exactly how your fur baby is doing and what their mindset was for the day. Oh....and I always pick up after your pet with biodegradable doggie bags when they are on my watch, even when they are in their own yard. I am happy to provide references upon request. :)
