Fully vaccinated against covid!! Full time nursing student/dog mom 🥰 🐶 I have had 2 dogs in my life since the age of 16. I consider myself an animal person and love all animals. I currently have a cat that is getting used to interacting with dogs and does not mind dogs around him. He is a domestic shorthair black cat named Cosmo. I also have a toy aussie named Aspen who is a bundle of joy and energy. Due to her breed she requires vigorous exercise daily so currently while I’m taking classes during the week my mom will watch her. If your pet does not get along with dogs let me know and I can give her to my mom for your pets stay! I am a full time nursing student at NYU and due to covid I am taking all my classes via zoom. This allows me the time to care for any animal 24/7. I am active and love going for walks with dogs. I also tend to take a lot of breaks throughout the day during my studies to go for walks so your dog might even get sick of all the walks I take them on 😂. I can provide walks, attention and play time with all animals because I’m stuck home all day studying and in class. People are also usually fascinated that their dogs or cats like me right away 🤷🏻‍♀️. I am available to walk dogs for longer periods of time after my classes during weekdays usually around 3pm. I am also open to going to the persons home to care for their animal. I have a lot of experience taking care of both dogs and cats and know that they require a lot of attention and love. I am also an expert at brushing dogs teeth and bathing dogs. I am also a very good dog trainer and have taught my dogs how to sit, give paw, lay down, play dead, stay, leave it, and roll over. Even if you just want me to train your young puppy I am willing to do that. Patience and positive reinforcement is what I am best at. I do not believe in scolding or yelling at animals when they do something bad. I only provide positive reinforcement (in the form of treats or attention) when the dog or cat does something good. I will never yell, raise my voice, or scold any animal ever. I do not believe they learn this way. I will make your pet feel at home with a dog bed (washed prior to your dogs stay), dog toys (cleaned prior to their stay), as well as 2 cat trees/scratching posts and cat toys. Please provide your dog or cat with their own food, treats, their favorite toys (if it makes them feel more comfortable), poop bags, training pads, and feeding bowls. Please let me know if there are any specific instructions for your pet including -what potty schedule they’re used to -if they are house trained or use training pads -what feeding times they are used to and how much they eat per day -if they are friendly with other dogs/people on their walks I will make sure your pet feels comfortable during their stay here 🥰 and send you lots of pics and updates throughout their stay! I will always respond promptly to any of your messages as well!
