A caring and compassionate person. that loves dogs of all kinds. whether they be puppy,adult, senior, or special needs. All breeds welcome. I have a large fenced in backyard, with a ramp, for older dogs that can't use the stairs. I also will help the dog learn how to walk on a leash, and helping anxious dogs feel right at home. Also run an animal sanctuary for senior dogs and cats, that have a good home here. To be in, for the rest of their lives. This sanctuary is Maw & Paws Ark Inc. I have helped many. Pets are not throw aways, they are family. I treat every dog like they are family. All are welcome. No dog is, Ever, left unattended outside. Even if it's fenced in yard.

Joanna was a lovely host and took great care of Esme. She had her own room and was even gifted a knitted bandana which she tried on and loved. She also gave me some great tips in dealing with my puppy, she had a lot of knowledge. Would definitely book again and highly recommend her to others. Thank you.
Joanna is a very kind person and is great with animals. Our dog had her own private room for eating and snoozing. I wish she had a chance to play with the other dogs, but Joanna was concerned that personalities wouldn’t be compatible. Thanks for taking care of our girl, Joanna!

to know that the dog is crate trained, or not, knows simple commands like sit stay, how to walk on a leash, i play ball with them, frisbee, always prepared, for anything. high energy dogs i can't work with anymore,
A typical day
a typical day, will be feeding and taking dogs out for their walks,what i call their constitutional, walks, i need to know if the dog is house trained, knows to go out potty, i understand the accidents, as i do clean up as well, not the prettiest thing to do, but its part of the description of caregiver. Some dogs i have cared for . i will play ball with them, with a frisbee, etc
