I always knew I had a special connection with dogs in particular and I had one with my childhood dog Ralph. He was a rowdy, untrained mutt and I adored him. I was the main person to take care of him and understand the basics. My sister worked in a kennel for five years and I would come volunteer with her as well. I just wanted to be around dogs as much as possible and I'm a quick learner if needs are beyond feed/water, pet, walk, love, play. I plan to have my own pack when I move out of the city eventually in a few years but I think working with Rover will let me not only make a few extra dollars on the side (I work full time at a media company) but the exposure to dogs literally makes my heart melt. I'm that person that sees a cute baby and it doesn't really affect me, but when I see a cute dog I literally can't stop the love from bubbling up. Cheers!
